Oranges are healthy for the whole family.
The benefits of vitamin C are well known to both women and children for their ability to prevent colds and to provide beauty care. Another healthful component of oranges is potassium, which has the ability to reduce sodium in the body, and for the prevention of high blood pressure. Reduced blood pressure has the related benefit of reducing swelling. Oranges are therefore recommended to busy people who often eat out.
Cancer Prevention
Cancer is a disease in which abnormal cells destroy the normal cells that sustain a healthy life. Active oxygen has been proven to be a factor in the destruction of normal cells, and therefore to strengthen the immune system and fight off cancer, active oxygen must be suppressed. It has recently been shown that active oxygen can be controlled by polyphenols containing anthocyanin, while folic acid helps to improve the body’s immune system. Since oranges contain both polyphenols and folic acid, it can contribute to the prevention of cancer.
Orange Juice Every Morning
